The Fair Housing Compliance (FHC) course is a comprehensive program offered by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) for property management staff. NAHMA’s Fair Housing Compliance course trains managers to understand complex fair housing regulations.

Each participant will receive a copy of the NAHMA Fair Housing manual. The program is composed of classroom instruction and a two-and-a-half hour exam that the student must take within 3 weeks of receiving the voucher from the hosting AHMA. Individuals must pass this exam to obtain the FHC designation. The FHC is a requirement for NAHMA’s National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) certification program.

Exam:
After completing the one day of interactive instruction, participants will be given a voucher number to take the online exam at the location of their choice, home office, headquarters or property office. The voucher expires after three weeks. Students are notified immediately of their test results upon completion of the exam.

All participants who successfully complete the course will receive a FHC certificate and pin, and be listed in NAHMA’s Online Credential Directory.

Registration is closed for this course. Please contact AHMA Executive Director DeAnn Hartman at [email protected] with any questions.
